We are so excited for you to join us on our journey... and what a journey it is. We are growing and changing, learning and exploring, socializing, connecting and having fun, together.

JTConnect is a private nonprofit program for Jewish teens. Teens engage in Jewish programming on Monday nights in West Hartford, in our East of the River or Farmington Valley programs or at special JTWOW! events throughout the year. The entire Greater Hartford community is invited to visit. Teens, come and see how we can enhance your Jewish journey.

At the heart of everything we do is an understanding of how—and what—teens like to learn and do. We inspire our teens to become passionate Jewish leaders and active participants in the Jewish community. We instill in them a love for all that Judaism represents. Satisfy your curiosity with any one of JTConnect’s programs!

JTCentral – Are you looking for a consistent program of Jewish study? JTCentral is the place. Meeting on Monday evenings in West Hartford, teens learn about Judaism from the best of the best teachers in our community. Choose from a wide array of creative and interesting courses ranging from cooking to theology.

JTCommunity – Meeting in the early evening, JTCommunity “East of the River” and “In the Valley”, teens experience a hands-on learning approach to Judaism. Social action projects tied in with active learning help students connect to their Jewish roots to take them to the next level.

JTWOW! - is designed for all teens in the Greater Hartford community. JTWOW! is a series of one-day events, offered at different times in different venues, designed to enhance teen leadership skills and knowledge of Judaism. Students from across the community meet other teens and form lasting relationships. JTWOW 2012 includes sessions on Preparing for College, Jewish Teen Leadership Conference, Teen Mitzvah Day and many more.

Rosh Hodesh - It’s a Girl Thing! is a values-based, experiential and trans-denominational Jewish program designed to strengthen self-esteem and Jewish identity in pre-teen and teenage girls in grades 6-12. Rosh Hodesh: It’s a Girl Thing! groups meet monthly and are available in the Farmington Valley and in the West Hartford area.

In all of our programs, our top-notch faculty will be there to welcome students into a stimulating year of learning and fun. We welcome students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin. JTConnect is a place for teens to live and learn Jewishly in a pluralistic community of Jewish teens!
